Pompino - Winter Beast

The Surly front hub is because its solid axle not QR, this is a requirement for the front rack unfortunately, if anyone can find a cheaper solid axle disc hub then I'll be over the moon. I was struggling.

I've wanted one of these racks for ages, I have no sensible reason why.

It is going to be my main bike througout winter but it is not exclusively a winter beater, I reckon it will probably become my daily "do everything" bike so I can keep the Vigorelli purely for fast and fun rides, so I want to put some decent bits on there.

I really like the ease of GXP Bottom Brackets too.

makes sense I guess -if you want it you want it. I've no experience with SRAM -how is GXP any easier than hollowtech? (Alfine is hollowtech?
