Our red rectangles are not the optimum size/shape, but they seem to work fine in stopping people from double d-ing. Games seemed more open than at other tournaments I've been to this year, but that could've been because it was less competitive.

Yep - it's a good device. Easer to embed in your play than you first think and has an added benefit of keeping goal refs involved in the game (not that we had any on Sunday - Dan's swinging austerity cuts bit deep!)...

We're all still friendly enough for the 'honour system' (aside from monty) in Birmingham to need goal refs!
