shimano 7700 cassette on a 7900 hub ?
would that work ? spacers ? -
• #52153
It will work from 8 to 10 speed, less than that required the use of spacer (7 speed for example is pretty much the same spacing as 8 speed cassette with one less cog).
-
• #52154
I thought you'd already need spacers when using 9sp on an 11sp hub.

7900 isn't 11 speed.

To whom should I report a poorly driven faux-ambulance?
Drivers very aggressive when he tried to cut into my lane in Kingston, when confronted by me, he chased me down, overtook several traffic and block me so he can have a word with me.

Is it one of those private ones or an NHS one? If private, I would imagine whatever the company runs them and if it's NHS then try this maybe?

it's private (as far as I can tell, it's just a white transit minivan with ambulance written on it) but the driver was wearing the full green ambulance outfit.

Can you recommend a new short sleeve jersey? I've only got £60 to spend, don't really like the look of most cycling jerseys with naff designs and flashes etc. Black has gotta be the way to go...

Yeah, he gave me a slap before he drove off, reported to the police, whom isn't interested in it, best to contact the organisation directly.

He actually hit you?
If so and you told the police this then you should be making a complaint to them as well. That 2nd pic certainly looks like he is taking a swipe at you -
• #52166
Yeah. How can they not follow up an assault?
-
• #52168
I'd be reporting that again, you can't go around slapping people, even if they are Ed.

Rapha from the forum?
I've bought 2 nice club jersies here, both for sub £40 and both barely used.

Start an 'I just crashed into an ambo' thread.

Attempted assault, property damage, driving without due care and attention, causing an obstruction on the highway, probably a FPN-eligible no-stopping offence for where he actually stopped...
REPORT HIM!!!

I've done so at the local cop shop with a very disinterested officer, will go back to the cop shop again and speak to the officer about the other violation you've mentioned, thank.

Police station manager bigwig type, local MP, IPCC...
Use the money on more bike trips, nice winter bike clothing, etc. - and most important good food stops on your rides.
