Hasn't Zanujaj said "I want to play for Albania", he can't play for Kosovo because of it being an unrecognised state.Unless it's friendly matches.
It does touch upon identity and what you call yourself. But please, let's avoid the plastic debate.
The "English" cricket team is constructed of many players who developed in SA and Australia, and then because of their parental ties opted for England. It also helps that England are probably recognised as better in these sports than their "home" nations.
Also: what Andy P said. The home nations done has an agreement.
