Stolen bikes

Just saw a mint green shop 14 ESB ridden by a Black Guy aged 30-40 wearing rasta patterned bandana. It was on the corner of Warburton Rd and the road parallel to London fields. He waved/spoke to the guys from one of the arches.

Not sure that its been stolen but he didn't look like a typical fgfs rider

My bikes been stolen from Hackney Wick area in the last hour - very distinctive club bike fluorescent yellow with rider name and club initials (see picture). Please please keep your eye out and report it to the police if you see it or message me here.

I saw a very large, possibly 62cm dark blue Claude Butler conversion with a Brooks saddle being sold by a 5ft5 Turkish dude on Brick Lane on Sunday. It was bought by a very tall man who was wearing a cricket jumper. It was totally stolen.

It's been a long time since I've been to Brick Lane and it's worse now than ever. Pretty much everything there is stolen. Guys would just keep going and getting bikes from somewhere and selling them one by one. Mostly bright red super new Specialized road bikes.... Insane.... so many rattle-canned fixes too....

Good news we managed to take a bike off a bike thief a few weeks back during our Northampton Critical Mass. One of the riders notice the stolen bike and he was promptly chased down by about 20 rides and the bike was taken back. He still was giving it a load of lip even when surround by 50 or so riders.

Good news indeed. That said, is it in anyway possible that the guy had somehow bought or otherwise gained access to the bike in good faith?

tricitybendix's Condor Pista, beige 52cm, stolen from her work car park on Wentworth St (just off Brick Lane) an hour or two ago.
creamy coloured frame, Deda 70mm stem, black omniumns, Condor/Miche wheels, black lizard skins bar tape, fancy shimano Doere XT spds, black fizik saddle and rear roadracer mudguard. Bike is data tagged I believe.
They angle-grinded their way through her fahg mini evo in plain view of CCTV. Photo to follow when I find one...
It's one of these, but not this one. I never took a picture of it but she might have, so will update when the correct one shows up.

Oh FFS....that's outrageous - I guess the fact that the bike parking at her place is kind around the back of the building/out of site of the street worked in the thieves favour. But really...angle grinders?? :(

Infuriatingly it happens on a regular basis in my office; I'm amazed I've gone almost three years without it happening. The guy followed me in yesterday (I thought it was odd at the time as he walked in, said hello to me and then walked straight out of the fire exit) and was obviously watching this morning as the CCTV shows him rocking up with a bag full of power tools about 3 minutes after I'd locked up and left.

Fuck! Is nothing sacred. Raging motorists don't piss me off, but thieves deserve a broken face. So sorry about this. Will keep both peepers open.
