"...Did surprisingly well at Velojam actually, was going to do Cat C/Novice because it was my first ever race but was put into Cat B by the coaches and came 9th out of 17! Also won the 'most improved rider' prize which was a pair of ridiculous Oakley sunglasses!"

Well done Scoot, formidable performance...* It can sometimes be quite demoralising being moved up a category or two, to be made to compete against stronger and more experienced riders than yourself. However, that, and good coaching of course, is the only way forward. Well done.
