So I'm going touring. In November, in the UK. I'm not adverse to the cold and rain. I want to see the UK. I plan on going form London to the south corner and then upto the outer Hebrides. For 4 weeks I guess. I will probably spend 1 or 2 nights a week at houses of people I know.
I will be wild camping, camping rough. I've never done this before, so it's all new to me and I need a lot of help! I've traveled and slept rough, but never on a bike and camping.
I'm getting a Genesis Croix de Fer as my bike. Mudguards and rack.
I'll be buying all hte bike gear, as I need a winter trainer.
Genesis Croix de Fer 60cm
Sram Red (stolen from my cannondale)
Avid BB7 Brakes
Wheels (maybe andyp second hand) or something else.
Wifli Rival RD 12-32
SKS chromoplastic mudguards
Grand Prix 25, maybe 28c tyres
I need to get basically everything. I don't have much money, so value for money is key. I'm made of tough stuff, so don't need much. A tent, a matt to sleep on. I plan on taking a set of cycling gear, a few extra dry bits and maybe some normal cloths, maybe.
I'll take my time atacs and sidi dominators. I might get some gore-tex shoes, undecided. I'll trial the dominators over long distance before I go. If no good it'll be spds and extra shoes
I like the Idea of a Carridice saddle bag, SQR. And maybe a narrow rear rack I can bungee a drybag and tent too. As said I don't need much. Panniers would be overkill on thought.
I don't like material goods, so traveling light works for me perfectly.

I will be taking a camera and straving the whole thing. It's going to be a adventure!
Route; Very vague. I'll be using a compass and map to navigate where I feel like it on a day by day basis.
