Sorry who are you again? I'm sorry sumo but I don't have time to teach people how to read. AWKWARD ^^^^^^
I don't think you've quite got the hang of the whole forum thing.

Are you people really that uptight that you would let something like this bother you? Okay il happily admit maybe the full history of the frame should have been given. That being said I was never planning on selling my bike. So I guess that renders this whole topic pointless. Also I guess banter is dead. I do apologise if anyone looses sleep over this. But I don't apologise for the fact you live such sad lives!

Banter:
Noun
The playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks. <<<None of which your words qualify under.Obfuscate:
Verb
Render obscure, unclear, or unintelligible. <<< Withholding information and defending against that by blaming people for being "uptight".Loose:
Adjective
Not firmly or tightly fixed in place; detached or able to be detached: "a loose tooth". <<< e.g a Loose anus such as yourself.Basically, you got called out, you got defensive, you're a childish mug.

What if I simply do not believe your story? Why did you bother starting this thread if you don't want to sell? You could just look up similar ads and work out interest from what. Takes only few minutes of reading.
-
• #34
If you wanted to fob people off you could have just put it on eBay with new pictures and no one would have been none the wiser. Foolishly you put it here where people might know you or might have seen these images on other platforms. You got caught out and then got all immature and defensive.

Regardless of what you think my agenda was. You are wrong! I was going to delete the thread I just merely forgot. "To be caught out". Would be stating that I was intending to sell. As this isn't the case I'm afraid Tim you are wrong. For someone like yourself I'm guessing that doesn't happen very often. On a serious note though guys if you would like me to delete this thread then by all means I have no objection. The only reason I haven't is I just figured you guys wouldn't haven't anything to do and me thesaurus wouldn't be able to share his knowledge
-
• #36
Haha right so now you weren't curious to sell? And you admitted you didn't tell the whole truth and now you're saying I'm wrong? Doesn't really add up pal.
Keep your assumptions to yourself. I get things wrong all the time.

I wasn't curious to sell, I was curious about how much money I would get for my bike if I was to sell. If your initial comment would have been "Is this the Kagero kk repaired if so then you need to state history of the damage and to be honest a damaged frame would not sell for as much as you have advertised, possibly not at all". I would say that was a more respectable/subtle approach.

"I'm considering to sell..."
"I'm wanting to sell as it doesn't get used..."
A bit about not being able to ship to Austria...
"In fact my original information states I was considering to sell my Kagero. Not that I was wanting to."
"The bike isn't going to be sold, I never 'fully' intended to sell"
"I was never planning on selling my bike"
"I wasn't curious to sell, I was curious about how much money I would get for my bike if I was to sell."
The stuff about the history of the frame aside, are you saying that you deliberately misled people into thinking that you might sell - or were 'curious to sell' as you put it - just to get some sort of idea as to the value?
-
• #41
It wasn't so much as misleading , nor to rip anybody off. Just curiosity of value. But I guess that wouldn't be a lot taking into account peoples reactions
-
• #42
But why were you curious as to the value if you had no intention of selling it? And if you were just curious, why didn't you just ask, 'how much do you think my bike is worth,' rather than set up such an elaborate charade?
-
• #43
That is a very good point. I haven't used this site before.
-
• #44
I've got no beef with you - I'm just pointing out how your pitch might have aroused the response it did. This isn't a 'market place' per se, and people on here tend to value transparency and are on their guard against people trying to rip other people off.
I'm not saying that was what you were trying to do, I hasten to add. -
• #45
No I understand that. Your points are highly valid and I appreciate all of them. Thank you
-
• #46
Everything that ^^ said. I'm not being a dick but the way in which you've worded stuff appears like you were trying to cover up the damage aspect. Especially given the photo's which used to be online are no longer there. Which again i'm not saying you have deleted them etc etc but it doesn't all add up.
If I paid up for a bike that had history I wasn't aware of, came in to problems further down the line because of it, i'd be pretty pissed off? Do you not think that's a fair point.
-
• #47
That goes without saying it would be the same if you where to buy a car. As for the photos online I never posted any originally, the only ones I was aware of where posted by kk and as far as I'm aware they are still there.
-
• #48
how much would be only the frame? and th shipping to france
-
• #49
frenchmilan, do you understand this is a repaired frame?
-
• #50
Am I the only person on here old enough to remember Groundhog Day?
... You were testing the water to see if you could sell on a repaired damaged frame.
Curiosity is all fine and well but if you're not going to give the full story you might as well not bother.
