I bought some thermal DHB bibs a while back on a whim. I use them all the bloody time. I hope the Rapha version will be as versitile, just nicer. Plus points re: thermal bibs. You can add either knee warmers or lag warmers so they cover 3 temp ranges. Adding separate knee and leg warmers allows you to dial in the length (tights are often too long or too short). Much easier to add/remove warmers when temps change mid ride. I actually use mine without warmers a lot. If its not super warm. They work as summer bibs for me. I going to be in inch thick woolen baselayers, a softshell, and hardcore Amfib tights for winter. Not sure Rapha could help me there.
