  • It doesn't seem like it, although there seems to be laws saying that you shouldn't dazzle other road users (seems sane to me). Whilst it might not apply to bikes, you don't want someone claiming they hit you because they were dazzled by your lights - the excuse seems to work when it's the sun in a driver's eyes, so why not a superbright LED?

    I mostly just dip mine so they aren't directed into people's eyes and I'm always ready to reduce brightness on the front if I think it's causing problems. Having people keep flashing you because your lights are so bright is possibly not a good sign.
