I haved the same model in nearly the same colour.
Think it dates '72 to '74, being very similar in detail to the Celeste.

sorry guys but this is now sold. and very pretty it is too! :)
Hello, another mixte for sale, this time older than the Youngs. It's perhaps not quite as nice and is without the refurbishment - or is more original, however you want to look at it.
Again, the frame is of good quality as you can see from the clean lugwork. There's a bit of surface pitting but this will come good with some wire wool and grease. Otherwise the paint job is very nice and the bike looks great with the mudguards.
There is a snap in the rear mudguard but you can tuck it up into the break area and it stays secure. It seems a shame to lose the period Bluemells mudguards.
I was going to restore it before selling and will continue to do so if nobody wants to take it on like this. It works okay as it is but probably needs recabling, new pads and new tyres to bring it up to its former glory.
54/55 cm effective top tube, 55cm centre-top on the downtube.
Period Huret shifter and mech in good condition.
'Special Lightweight' steel rims.
Good quality TDC bottom bracket
Bike is £80. To be collected from Dalston or Lewisham by arrangement.
