I know a dude who's a gp, unsure if he's still in town or not but will see if I can hunt him down.

Dude. Calm down!

Well, she signed us both up without telling me in actual fact..
It's a week after our wedding. -
• #6081
Lol!
There might be a friendly doc on here who could sign such a form.

Who, DFP?

For Mount Blanc (not me, of course) I know guys who just make one up and send it in - it lets them tick the box with their insurers, they don't investigate whether the thing is actually legitimate.

Is there any nice marathon in the UK before the end of the year that might be worth doing?

If you're ready to taper:

that's closed for this year isn't it?
Ideally something around november would be good. I was ready to start taper for amsterdam but it all went tits up so I wouldn't mind keep the momentum and find something a bit later. -
• #6087
A gp would charge for that?!
What's a doctors stamp and how would one fake that - cut out potato?m gp charged £15 for l'etape certificate that is the same thing. Fuff on here had hers for free

This is a useful page:

Or there's joggers world race finder.I think that traditionally, the winter is for XC before transitioning to the road or track as your preference goes, so there aren't a lot of road races over the winter.

That's a good read.
I'm wondering if I can apply some of his tactics to parkrun. The 10am beer for example.

Second chance for a london marathon spot if you entered in the ballot and missed out.
Just register below and record a time at your local parkrun tomorrow.
Given the small number of parkrunners probably offers you a good chanceAll you need to do is visit www.adidas.co.uk/vmlm and you could be amongst the thousands of runners who are preparing to #boostlondon.

Anyone see this?

100 miles going round and round and round and round and round an indoor track just sounds awful to me.

My first half tomorrow morning round London's famous London parks.
Does it matter that the furthest I've ever run is 9 miles and that was only once?
Unfortunately it asks for a "doctor of medicine", not a "doctor". Otherwise I'd just grab a passing PhD and get them to sign it.
