alfine, external or internal? reason of selling?
-
• #3
External wiring. I sold the frame that I bought it specifically for and I need the money for new projects.
-
• #4
cool, I have a flatbar MTB, would you sell minus shifters/levers?
-
• #5
Potentially. I would rather sell it as a groupset but if no one else expresses much of an interest I'll definitely split.

That alfine would be sweet on my Belt drive 29er. I'll get in line. But I too, may be interested sans shifters.
-
• #8
Word of warning on the belt drive, I bought it with the intention of installing a belt drive but the belt cog doesn't fit without a degree of 'modding'. Took the decision not to do anything to the group-set in case I wanted to sell it. Apparently they're trying to release an easy upgrade.

I have the old Gates belt system. So I may well be screwed on that one.

what's with the carbon rim? does it have some kind of damage?
-
• #12
No damage exactly, I would say something went wrong during manufacture as there is a small 'skin' of carbon running through the spoke holes. Again, one rim is fine but I just want to put bit of a disclaimer on the other. I'll try and get a better picture.

Dibs on the Chinese carbon rims, where are you to collect?

And are they tubs or clinchers, thinking about it?

alfine Di2 minus shifters; no dice?
-
• #16
Alifine di2 - how is it laced ? more specifically I am thinking about using it on my tandem but that needs a good strong wheel? any experience?

-
• #17
3 cross lacing 32 hole. Very strong wheel since the hub is so big as well. Was built up at Kinoko and I've never had a problem with their builds before. Will be splitting very soon if I don't get a complete buy.
