^ I wonder this myself, although I used to work with a guy who was quite similar, and he was genuinely an awful, disgusting human being who's life was so ridiculous that no one quite believed it, or could understand why, after numerous brushes with the law and general social ruin, he carried on regardless. I felt sorry for him once and he fleeced me of £7k.... Never again
Guess some people just don't get it
