  • Of course they do. Its probably easier to store everyones metadata than sift it limiting it to people they are targetting. They will just ask Google,, yahoo FB etc and isps to hand over everything

    Also I bet its not just metadata they hold...it's everything

    It's not the isps that are handing over the data. They have tapped into the networks that run between isps, the super highway itself so to speak. Anything unencrypted is stored, anything encrypted is stored and could be decoded later if they decide you are interesting.

    Unless they have a thing for steam punk and debates on correct road positioning, I think you are safe and will have you info archived after a year. Deleted, probably never.
