Thinking of swapping my 10speed Ultegra 6600 group, it's the SL/grey version, how much are they going for these days, or rather what could I get Campagnolo-10-speed-wise on the second hand market roughly in exchange. Group is all but the wheels and pedals so - chain, cassette, cranks, bb, brakes, brifters.

Not sure where to put this thread, so feel free to move it..
Hello there, I'm after a all year round, comfortable & durable commuter.
Found this near me. Would you guys be able to value it for me? How much should I offer? How much is it worth? Are there any big issues that you can see? Thanks

I feel so sorry for that DA hub :(
I'd offer him €375 if I were you, then sell me the rear wheel as it really doesn't belong on a build like that!

Also here's the thread you should put things like this in for future reference.

In time this thread will likely be merged into that anyway. -

So the rust spots are not an issue? Its a steel frame, right?

The bike is all beat up. I wouldnt wanna spend such money on it just for cosmetic reasons, not to say that you dont know how the previous owner(s) treated it. It looks more like a project that could cost you more than you'd want to spend. Even more since you're a beginning cyclist and dont have a garage full of dust collecting spares.

I've got dust all over my house but it rarely collects spares.

So I recently noticed that my neighbours old commuter might actually me quite a nice bike under all the dirt.
He bought it back from when he used to work in Switzaland and with a typical European attitude of "well its just a bike isn't" now he is commuting round on some seriously nice parts...
Discliamer - I did not take these photos and he hasn't cleaned the bike, this is nothing to do with me..
First question - I have seen these brakes go for over 400 in good condition - would these be in that ballpark with a little tlc...
Second question - Most of the kit on it is Campag Super Record - but it's all panto'd with the makers mark Gerbo - how does this effect value..
Finally approx value for bike as a whole? or just better off splitting..
Thanks!

tricky to sell panto when it's a small maker, better to keep it with the frame.
cleaned up looking pristine, if it can, then 800? if it can't clean up, 600?
i'd ride and enjoy it if it fits
i'd guess 80-100 on ebay for the callipers cleaned up

Resprayed Colnago Carbitubo LoPro (Colnago engraved), mixed parts (Campagnolo brakes, Sugino cranks, Dura-Ace rear mech, ...) on Corima wheels. What would this be worth?

Heyah guys, bought the bike off Grizzie a couple of weeks ago just for fun days but realized it doesnt fit me as much as I want it to, so I posted a for sale post for the whole bike but I've been getting PM's about the frame and I dont really know how much to price it. I have done some research about casati frames but not this specific frame as there's not a lot of info about them.
So anyway, can anybody help me value this frame? Got the original fork which will come with campag chorus headset. It's in pretty good quality with chips here and there but nothing too extreme. The only rust visible is from the insertion holes where the brake cables pass through.
Cheers

Thanks Ben, I'll pass on the info. He loves it and it has loads of memories, I might just advise swapping the brakes for some thing less appealing to the informed thief!

How much would a titanium road frame built up with full sram red 22, zipp 202 and zipp service course sl finishing kit would be worth? Everything except the frame will be brand new, Craftmanship and attention to detail would be up to NAHBS standards.

Hi folks. Looking at selling my (stock) charge plug. Circa 2010, small, dark blue. Well ridden with plenty of superficial scratches. Bar tape tired, seat post stuck. But no dents/dings. Wheels original, true. Ballpark figure - have NO idea. Thank you.

My old man wants to get rid of this old monster of a Peugeot - seems complete except wheels. I think it's a 24" frame.
Any ideas as to its value? -

£20
No info about frame manufacturer. Everything except Brifters and cranks is Dura Ace.
Cinelli cockpit and Zipp 26 inch wheels. Everything super mint condition, almost NOS. Time carbon forks.
For how much this could go?
