Avoid fat, aggressive men and handsome, aggressive men. In conflicts they disappear overnight.
Avoid respectable television and respectable newspapers. They have neither the talent of art, nor the instinctive snout of the media. Cod-science, cod-psychology is to be avoided, but do not make your enig-noise public, as it will bring the wrath of the drude quarters.
I bow down to a higher power. Men and women are both as useless and annoying as each other, and as brilliant and fascinating as each other too. That one cannot comprehend the other is a problem we'll never solve, but if we could there'd be nothing to talk about. Probably. The only people I saw tonight were at Wests, but that doesn't count.
