Your brother steel track is a nice build!
Thanks, was a solid frame, just a bit redundant with my Vivalo

Just noticed your Vivalo, it's gorgeous.
Please don't sticker bomb it! -

I did put 2 stickers on, but i felt bad and took them off...
My Brother was going to end up like the Guerciotti but it was to "compact" for that kind of build

Here is my beater/frankenbike, welded from two damaged CBT Italia frames (track rear and road front). The rest of the build comes from what I had left in the parts bin... My good friend Peete did the Dr Frankenstein welding job, hats off to him.
I think this deserves a repost..

I need to sort out mudguards, but I don't know what to get
because tight clearences and front - 25mm, rear 37mm tire -

Master, I've seen pictures of that thing before between the seat and the frame. What is it?

its a chain inside an inner tube. It's to stop the saddle getting nicked

FTFY. Didn't save a friend of mine's Brooks. Although saddle thieves seem to try harder for a Brooks.

^ is that because they're connoisseurs?
-
• #7519
The opposite, it's because they know they'll be able to shift it & it'll be worth something if it says Brooks on it, whereas anything else they probably don't know what they're looking at.

It's not much really, but atleast thief can't get saddle/seatpost just with hex, he needs something to get the chain in half, but most of them don't think it's worth the effort(hopefully).

Thank you donkerdc, that explains a lot. Never thought about that. That's a good idea for a pub bike. Thanks :)
