I'm going to give the "winter trousers" a go this year, the long lycra ones not the baggy ones. Hoping to keep up the commute all through winter now I've moved near a bus route (was at the top of a big hill before that didn't get gritted.)
The winter jackets are good as well, although unfortunate colours, I've had one for a couple of years and it's super warm.
