South London Cycling Clubs

Kingston Wheelers are very organised and active. You gotta be careful which group you go out with though or you'll be in for a serious beasting! From my experience, the standard combo of nobjockeys and nice guys that you find in clubs.

Probably a bit too South West for me, but will have a look in case. I remember you talking about that ride, sounded painful.

Cadence cycling shop/cafe do group rides often lead by this guy.
9am most saturdays and sundays 2+ hours - just turn up and ride

I'm on the hunt for a club. Although I live in Hackney, I'm keen for somewhere South East-ish as I'm pretty bored of Essex and Hertfordshire, and Kent is where it's at for riding.

Although this is probably wanting to have my cake and eat it, I'm after a club that is both quite relaxed and not too big, whilst offering club runs of a strong pace and distance. I'm also interested in a club that could nurture me into racing. I supposed Dulwich Paragon are the most obvious option (bar the size criteria). Suggestions please?! Have looked a little bit into DP, Catford, and Brixton.

I'm also quite interested in online clubs like Rollas and London Phoenix who ride out in all direction. I know quite a bit about Rollas, but less about Phoenix. Anyone know much about them?
