Ryan at Oak Cycles was telling about how he does exactly this, to new frames, just the other day. His workshop is in Southwark.

Ryan works in steel .. OP has a Carbon frame.
Have a look here, these people do carbon repairs so should be able to reinforce a frame area .. these are two I have bookmarked, but sure there are others

Thanks Oswald. Yep, carbon it is.
I'm having FD issues on my carbon frame. Basically, it seems that there is some movement where the braze on mount for the FD is bolted to the frame. It seems to be a known issue on some carbon frames and one that is countered by certain manufacturers by reinforcing the carbon at this point.
So, I'm looking into finding a carbon specialist who may be able to reinforce this area for me. Can anyone recommend someone to speak to? Or does anyone have any experience with this?
