Bath's actually pretty good to ride around. You can always beat the traffic into town and there are plenty of options for hill reps without going too far from your door. I used to do North Rd, Bathwick Hill, Ralph Allen Drive, and Widcombe Hill in less than 20 miles door to door.

Sion hill was the art college that went years ago flogged to developers.

Widcombe and Brassknocker were the toughest on fixeh
if you're brklz the only way down is North Road.

We used to do the 7hells including brassnocker, landsdown and that one up thru bear flat (although admittedly that was with gears). Happy days. I used to commute Bathwick-Brassknocker-Winsley hill every day back in the 90's - Happy days
