Strikes me as very pricey. Was it raced? With the equipment attached? If you think that the running gear is worn out - and it will be tired at least should it have been raced - then you can pretty much write most of it's value off:
Tired 5500 group: £75
Tired wheels: £80
Finishing kit: who cares, unless the stem is ti, which it probably isn't.
Frame: £250 tops. Maybe a bit more if the headtube will take 1 1/8th and the BB is BSA.
