Yeah exactly the same. Problem seems to be that the pivots were stockpiled by those in the know and now only the FKS seem to be available, and everywhere in the UK is taking the piss with pricing.
128€ is an absolute steal with today's prices.
Bought mine in the beginning of July. So pretty early. Everything I bought was at least 60% off RRP (boots where <£200 instead of £600). I wanted a solid powder hunting package, but simply could'nt afford the premium pricing this stuff was demanding (see above).
Ironically we havent seen any snow, and the machine produced stuff on the local slopes will be shite with my skiis :(
(The kiwi green of the new model would have looked amazing against my skiis sidewalls though.)

These are a standard wide....
http://www.ekosport.fr/fiche.asp?id_produit=16504173&id_partenaire=26
...and 153 euros.
95 mm brakes. Which should be OK for 98mm under foot. Might need a little teasing I guess. Fit you boot to clamp the brake, and use a handle bar over the brake arm for laverage. 1.5mm per side will be easy.

the mantras are 98mm underfoot, and the L brakes are 90mm, the XXL are 100-117 mm, but the "wide" (which is have for my PX 12 jibs) are 95mm so tbh I was planning on the XXL to avoid problems, bending the brakes etc.

Those links are pretty promising - decent prices, cheers.

My i-Rocks are something like 128mm under foot. So needed bending 4.5mm per side theoretically. In reality it was far less. I'd bet a Norwegian pint, the wide would fit a 98mm ski out of the box.

Try using the shopping comparision on google.fr, and google.de.

when you bend them they don't quite hit the snow very well, but at least it gets you on the lift. Brakes do fuck all on a big wide ski anyway, especially in soft snow. just give the din a couple extra turns, you'll be fine.

I have been invited for a couple of days to Meribel at the end of March... I've only ever been skiing 4 times and only ever in Austria.
Anyone been to Meribel? What's it like?

Yeah, I used to live there and went back last year. It's basically like a north England university town with chalets and the world's biggest ski area. I don't care how many times you've been skiing, you'll find something you are very happy on.
It's cheesy, but fun.

With bindings catching up with ski widths its probably not a big issue. Even my slight bendding doesnt seem to effect them much.
Still. Like you say. They arent going to stop the ski anyway.
Plenty of folk use the lifts in their nordic set-ups up here, as well as brakless tech bindings, and telemark bindings without leashes. Not sure its an issue really.

Flims-laax is expensive but awesome.
Went to a course called the freestyle academy with full sized jumps and foam pits to land in, so so so tiring getting out but nailed the 360 didn't do so well on the flips though, I managed 2 half backflips, got too excited both times that I hadn't died and landed on my head!
They also have a bmc and skate ramp which goes into the pits as well as a zillion trampolines which you can also launch yourself into a foam pit from.

So I went for the Look PX - got them on glisshop.co.uk for £158, which they let you pay in 3 installments for no extra charge, simply taking 3 payments form your card over 3 months which was sweet. I have the px jib on my 4FRNTs and they're solid and dependable.

I'm a snowboarder and I went there a few years back, launched into nearly a double backflip and 5's into the foam pit, was great fun.

I've wanted to go since I was a little kid. A good way to have my first holiday in several years I think. We probably won't get much skiing in on the trip but its going to be awesome anyway!
We've managed to arrange it on quite a decent budget although its going to be expensive to feed and water ourselves while we are out there.
199 euros

I thought the XXL denoted brake width. Remeber having mare finding mine, as all the wide brake offers were sold out. Surely you dont need uber wide for mantras.
Dont go narrower than you need though. Had to bend my brakes. It was fecking difficult.
