Hey I got rid of Facebook a few months ago but is it still possible to see people's posts on that page? I'll check the group often to see what's going down but I'll probably report back here.

Try Downlands Cycles, a bit expensive but very professional.
+1 To Downands being top guys. I did a bike mech course out there earlier in the year, and found that all of the Downlands people really knew their stuff.
Hey I got rid of Facebook.
I just checked, and it's still there.

Hey guys the weather is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend. I was thinking if you wanted to set something up we should do it this Saturday or Sunday. Don't really know where would be a good place to ride to, but if you guys have any suggestions then we'll sort something out.

-

ha! never knew Canterbury had a fixed scene. Don't think I saw one fixed / ss rider there in my 8 years in Canters.
-
• #39
fuck me Ashford has a fixie scene! where do you hang out? county square or the tank?
what a hole that place is, everyday i thank my parents for moving away.maybe i should move back and join the crew?

man ashford is indeed a craphole :) either head to maidstone, folkestone or canters to ride. Anywhere but ashford avoiding chavs and scum as you know :) I also spend a lot of time in London s ride there mostly

i grew up in willsbourough and kennington.
but then i'm old enough to remember the old cinema, when county square was the 'tufton center' and didn't have a roof and the market was in the town before the eurostar meant it had to move.move away as soon as you can, your life will be richer and more fulfilling if you do.

i actually live in Sellindge so away from the idiots but yeah the old market was good, the old town was good and indeed London is looking tempting again :)

to be fair the canterbury scene (well dozen of us) are more of a polo scene than ss/fg. Just have the bikes for playing polo on. however are a fair few people ridding round the city on ss/fg bikes.

check out straightfix on facebook and we can organise some rideouts :)
-

Ashford is where its at! HA!
Spend more time riding out of Ashford if I can help it. Maidstone, Canterbury and Folkestone are my preferred riding areas. -

Hey. Just arrived back in the area after a year away in Melbourne which had an absolutely killer fixed scene. Keen to get something going in and around Canterbury if people are interested?

Looking to get my frame repainted. Anyone know of a service here in Canterbury? Car paint shops?
Does anyone wanna set up a Canterbury Fixed Gear facebook group so we can we sort out stuff there? Then post a link to it here? I'll do it if no one else is keen, i'm pretty rubbish on all things internet tho..
