I've got deda crono nero low riders that have an angled flat section on the tops. Having the bars flat does make riding the tops fairly uncomfortable but not having them flat makes the rest of the bar more or less unusable for more than a couple of minutes! If you're riding on the tops the whole time get some sick stubby risers with ourys on for max HHSB points.

Enduring unnecessary and easily avoidable wrist pain because you prefer the aesthetics of a paticular bar angle is well tough.

Riding with hands either side of stem is not conducive to sick skids, epic drifts or mad bombs... Personally I never really ride on the tops, just move around the extensions.

All bike stuff looks best when set 'correctly' so aesthetics are a silly argument for a dumb saddle or bar angle or trispoke on backwards. They all look best when setup the right way.

The only thing that is subjective is someone's own comfort, so if it is more comfortable for you* to have your saddle aligned with your bro pro tt or your bars aligned with your stem I guess that is you and your freakish body.

*using the theoretical, group, 'you' not anyone in particular.

Although like Ed has said before, often if you need to tilt your saddle down then it's likely too high.
