It's difficult, how can you possibly determine if he needs help? The guy clearly has problems, maybe or maybe not in a clinical sense, or maybe he's just being a cunt... Who the fuck knows? Indeed his actions and behaviour doesn't makes sense and doesn't correspond with wanting to be part of the LFGSS community.
Personally I haven't got an issue with giving the guy a second, third, fourth or whatever chance, but like bossman said, "not sure when the lies will end, so would we even recognise the truth were it to come?" In any event, to recognise the error of your ways, and more importantly learn from it, is an important and necessary lesson in life, whether he stays or he goes.
