Tokyo Fixed / Kinoko Cycles

are the S2s made by Jan Kole's outfit (Colossi)? When I was living in HK a lot of riders were reporting QC issues with his frames, with some horror stories. His custom stuff seems quite nice though and is very competively priced. I know he builds for a lot of major Italian brands in his Shenzhen factory and just wondered if Kinoko source their frames from him (as do quite a few independent bike shops afaik)?

They're overpriced for a 4130 chromoly frame which is welded in Taiwan.

Errrrr yeah I'd hope so. v1s were made by hand in Brooklyn and therefore deserve the price premium...

JB, read all post please. Amey in a post above mine said they should be cheaper, and they were cheaper, after outsourcing building out of a small shop in Brooklyn.

Also, umop3pisdn, they were build of 4130, but not any, US made True Temper SuperTherm .
