• Hello everyone! : )

I'm new here, looking for any suggestions and advice's which help me to build my dream bike!

    Few word about myself.
I'm a foreigner, 21 yo, living. working and riding in London.
I'm sorry for grammar mistakes etc!

Couple weeks ago I found photo - somewhere on tapiture.com - of stunning bike build by Worksman Cycles and Bushwick Bike Shop for Core77 (some kind of design magazine). There's only 25 of them so I'm pretty sure I can't buy one simply because it will be too expensive.

This is how it's look like:

    Budget - less than 1k.
I'v started to look for the part's from this detailed picture:

By far I found frame on builders page
    http://www.worksmancycles.com/

Obviously not all the part have to be exactly the same, so if you guys have any suggestions fell free to contribute ; )

Frame cost - 184$ (without shipping cost's) which I think is not that bad.

I would prefer to build this bike by my own hand's even if I dont know how to do this, I will learn : )

Looking for any help and advice!

  • If you're particularly wedded to the bent top tube, consider a steel Kona Humu (i.e. <2010), one changed hands on here for £100 complete, another for £150. That will get you riding while you think about how to throw £800 at upgrades :-)

  • or a Charge Steamer?

  • Or a Post Office Pashley
