Forgive my ignorance but I have never heard of this maker. Can you tell me a bit about it? How old the bike is, where it fit into the scheme of things when it was new? I want an old classic (a) to love and polish and fret over (b) for L'Eroica etc.

Thanks for the interest everyone and for the comments. Top tube size is 56cm, stem length is 90mm. As for the maker, well Fausto Coppi was a renowned cyclist through the 40's/50's though someone may want to correct me. As for the bikes, Iv found it very hard to find enough information about them. There maybe someone on here that can help. I think the frameset is around 10 years old. So i would say it was more retro than vintage. For sale this beautiful Coppi reparto corse K28, custom built and a well thought out bike if you can appreciate the 2x7 speed set up. Spec as follows:
Coppi K28 reparto corse frameset 56cm ST c-c and 56cm TT c-c, alloy frame, steel fork, though still a light responsive set up. Frame has a few small chips, barely noticeable and slight bubbling around the air holes on the rear stay. Pretty common on alloy frames.
Mavic Ksyrium wheelset, I think theyre 2009, I removed the decals on the rims as i prefer this look. Wheels running true and solid, bearings are running as if new, recently trued professionally. New Deda high pressure rim tape, New vittoria ultralight tubes, Vittoria Rubino tyres, less than 100 miles.

Selle italia Q bike saddle ( has slight scuff on rear)
