Ferraroli frame and fork, Edco competition headset, DuraAce bottom bracket. Very high quality frame from Swiss frame builder Alain Ferraroli. Cinelli lugs on fork, engravings on fork and rear stays. Original world champion stipes on the frame. Campagnolo drop outs. some info I found on a french site.

Ferraroli : the ” Rolls Royce of bikes “
The company in the Swiss mountains , Ferraroli SA, based in La Chaux -de -Fonds, was declared bankrupt on 5 March 1998. Jewel of the region , it had eight employees. Known widely in the environment of cyclists, amateur or professional, Alain Ferraroli crafted custom frames in his studio passed to be the best in the world : 600 frames were produced on average each year. A figure deliberately stopped to ensure that the discerning craftsman was of the highest priority. Started in 1978 by two brothers Alain and Florent , the company had launched the bike company in the early 80′s. “The Rolls Royce of bikes ” certainly gave the greatest satisfaction to its owners , but we had to pay the price : starting at 3000 to 8900 francs. These high-end bikes were obviously designed from high-tech materials.

Frame has a few scratches as can be seen in pictures. I got the frame as is and set it up as a fixed gear for a couple of weeks. Figured it was a shame to have it set up as I was riding and that someone would appreciate it much more than I.

    Head tube 17.5cm
    Top tube 60cm
    seat tube 59cm
    rear spacing 128cm

-250£ not including shipping I think is a fair price for it.

If you would like more pictures just let me know!

  • Hi what makes you call the Colnago a Super? Do you have pictures of the bb cutout? looks like there's a club on the head tube lug.
Saarf will be along soon anyway

  • what size is the Ferraroli, please?

  • The guy I bought it from claims it was a 1992 super, I did some digging around online and seems the only other frames that were similar had been also labeled super in the description. I just know it's got the club cut out on the head tube, bottom bracket doesn't have cut-out. Tubing is labeled Cromor, but I have not been able to source many other frames or models which looked the same. If someone has some light to shed on us it would also be very appreciated.

Also forgot to post the geometry on the Ferraroli!

    Head tube 17.5cm
    top tube 60cm
    seat tube 59cm
    128mm rear spacing

  • Dibs the Ferraroli please, pending delivery costs and loads more photos of those lovely lugs.
