Would that be why all of the major manufacturers have been making their TdF frames more compliant in recent years in order to beat the rider up less, we've been moving to wider, lower pressure tyres and in general trying to make riders more comfortable?

I had a look and it seems that Mavic's dont take 10spd cassette (my other bikes are all 10) therefore I will consider good offers on the wheels as well.

I'm 5'77 and to my liking front is slightly too high. But again it's a matter of preference.

I'll consider split once we have takers for the frame and groupset. However would prefer not to have to do it
