  • phaaaaooooorrrrr... looking fwd to the build!

  • Made progress this morning at work:
Headset and forks fitted, bb installed, hub serviced and regressed with the new axles and I'm now heading home to install the cranks, seat and post and cockpit

Also, if anyone has a Pearl9 going spare in same condition as mine (just light scratches) shoot me a pm please :)

  • such nice clean build, any plans to ride this on the track?

  • Yes once its built I plan to use it on the track to learn as I've never managed to get down to HH on weekends even though I've been riding fixed for 3 years

Sorry if I'm stagering pics a lot but I'm just uploading as I take them today as the build progresses

  • want <3

  • Please don't say you're going to have indra levels of post? Looking great so far though

    Thar she blows.

Frame is proper candy, so colour clearcoat over chrome.

Watch it Karmal, you can actually pick the clearcoat off with your fingers it's that thin, plus it comes off in chucks. Be very delicate installing the headset especially.

what tyres? all I can read is schwalbe.. apologies

  • Lugano, the classic looking version.

  • No Indra level seat post, just left it at the max until I get the rear wheel on and can size myself up

  • You tried setting up your 7410 post? Mine is a little bitch to get a flat saddle angle on.

  • You tried setting up your 7410 post? Mine is a little bitch to get a flat saddle angle on.

Not yet as I still need to pick up my wheels, however when I first got the post and put my saddle on it I think the clamp was the wrong way round and it was easier to adjust when turned around, give that a try maybe?

  • Got my wheels today, got it built up, B0N0R I see what you mean about the saddle clamp on the seatpost it is a massive pain!!!
Hopefully taking some good quality pictures tomorrow to upload

  • so stoked on this Kamal.
    Tis gunna be a beaut

  • Built it up last night. It it was too dark to get a decent phone picture, rode it in to work this morning and its amazing

Its in the "track set up" need to put on my time atacs, Dura ace stem and soma highway compact drops but its still lovely:

  • lush

  • Don't care much for those pedals but the rest of the bike is sweet.

  • They're an aquired taste in regards to colour but they won't be on there much

  • Those looks are great on it man! Love this bike, looking forward for the:
"Dura ace stem and soma highway compact drops"

  • Such a strong build - paintwork is stunning in the flesh.
    Good work Kamal

  • If anyone's interested in how it looks with the compacts got a couple decent pics, courtesy of Indra, up on my PedalRoom
