I have no complaints about Salmons Super Profils. They're flat, matte brushed not polished, great with skinny tyres, aren't totally flat underneath so do keep water in relatively well. Am about to remount mine onto my Mercian so I'll try to meet you in it some time soon if you like.
Otherwise what about hammered honjos/Velo Orange? Awesome looking, not postiebikey. Better than flat guards.
