  • Ok, this is truly a long shot, but while doing some googling after breaking the right crank on my old peugeot bike I found this thread and see someone based in the Netherlands, just like me, offering the crankset I'm looking for. It's been three years and Pino has not been on the forum for a long long time, but I would really like to find out if Pino still has it laying around somewhere, in which case I'm very interested. So I thought I'd try it anyway. I'm not allowed to send private messages yet as a new member to the forum, so i decided to respond in this thread.

Any other help is also very appreciated of course. The thing is I broke the crankset by trying to get it off the bike with the appropriate crank puller, and now I find it is very hard to find an alternative crank, because I am kind of forced to keep using the existing spindle as the bike is equipped with french threading for which I will probably not be able to find a new spindle. So I guess my option are either finding the same crankset that I had, or experiment with other cranksets until I find one that accidentally matches with both the spindle and the required chain line.
