I don't think that Moyes did want to ship him off.
He hardly played last year, so I think SAF would have sold him but it would seem the chosen one wants to keep him about. By all accounts they knocked back several offers over summer.
Also means they can charge a higher price, should they choose to sell in Jan or Summer 2014
