Sponsorship could be EASILY arranged and Jersey prices and fees be covered by potential sponsors. e.g. Vodafone/Coca Cola etc.
Think about the advertising cost for those companies will be super cheap in comparison around the capital. I assume you should get so much sponsorship interest that each ride arranged with these sorts of numbers taking part in London would give every single member a free jersey and still be able to pay for their Race licenses in full.
Power to the People this can easily become the biggest take over in guerrilla marketing in London.
Could do... but for year 1 at least, I'd prefer to make the club be for and by it's members rather than anyone else.
And as a non-profit club without commercial sponsors a lot of things are made easier in the setup of the club.
Such as the BC provided club insurance... free to us, debatable when we have commercial sponsors.
