  • Not read whole thread, but I'd suggest a clear separation by entitlement of LFGSS events and LFGSS CC events to avoid confusion and separate casual events from organised club events and organised LFGSS (non-club events). e.g IIRC club runs are insured (with guests who are considering joining) but organised, non-competitive events are not.

    Absolutely.

    This also is the difference between something like the Bridges ride which is traffic, and open to anyone, including under-18s (as they're allowed to ride on the road), and booking a velodrome for a club event which will only be open to club members.

    I don't live in London, but really enjoy the community here, am I allowed to join?

    Although the L in LFGSS is London, and although we're in the East Region, individuals can belong to any club regardless of the club name or the region the club is in.

    So yes.

    But on the regional standings you're going to be an outlier and won't rank as a team in any measurable way.
