Gorgeous, and a bargain

It certainly is both of those things!
How's it going? Still enjoying the Seven? Taking care of it I hope!
Richmond Park seems a long way away right now.

I can vouch for Solarider, have had interactions with him on here and STW for years and years, not some dodgy out of country trader by a long chalk. One of the good guys.

Hi Andrew
Would you be interested in just selling the frame, forks and headset?
Thanks
-
• #6
Yes, happy to consider selling just the frame, fork and headset, although I would rather include the seat post and stem.
Drop me an email and we can discuss a price.

Thank you for posting this. I didn't even know steel dreams existed and I am a total carbon frame and forks phobic (tbf I did end up with busted eye sockets and wrists).
Just bought a new croix de fer with upgraded bits. So next year is possible, very beautiful.

Saddle - Fizik Arione
Grip - Colnago Cork
I built this up just before moving to Hong Kong, and now find that space is limited and I don't have the storage for a 'sunny days' bike. Cost over GBP5k to build, so am somewhat gutted to let it go. As you can see, there is still plenty of steerer left should you want to trim it.
Didn't want to fit the new black/red Campagnolo, and couldn't face putting Athena on it, so went for the best compromise of NOS Campagnolo with silver polished bits.
It was ridden once in the UK to bed everything in, but hasn't been ridden since.
Colnago size 59cm (ctr-top of top tube), measures 57.5 cms ctr-ctr (the saddle top to bb ctr measurement as pictured is 78cms).
GBP2,700 shipped, fully insured.
The wheels are a fair old bit of that, so I would do it for GBP1,900 without the wheels. That's basically the price of the frame, with a brand new groupset and finishing kit thrown in.
There will be no VAT or excise payable since the bike was bought in the UK VAT and excise paid before I moved and is effectively returning there. I have just sold my mountain bike that way with no problems.
I am a long time LFGSS'er, with plenty of positive feedback, so no worries about my credibility or honesty.
