Isn't it nice when things just work?

Jess, when I ordered stuff from there, I went to the parcel force depot and collected it. I'd advise you to do the same if you want it asaps...

They've already likely to have decided to rape you for import cash monies. If you aren't in a hurry, then let them do their job instead of you chasing around spending more money worrying about it. It'll probably be 10 working days at the depot and then the tracking will mention you owe money. Then you should ring them up and pay over the phone to speed up the delivery. Otherwise you have to wait for a letter to tell you how to pay and then they will send it out.

Just read this thread then checked the parcelforce tracker again (I say checked, I mean refresh the page I now have permanently open)

If you don't mind ringing their customer service number at national rate then give it a go. They don't promote paying this way, but I've done it several times and I've sped up the process. You may be lucky enough to get it in time to build up for the weekend. Hope the weather holds out!

You gonna go to intermediates?
-

Depending on who is carrying, you'll either get a letter from parcehole farce with your customs bill (pay online then they'll deliver next day) this usually happens with Japanese imports via EMS.
If FedEx, they will deliver and send you a customs bill a few days later.
If UPS, they will deliver and take the money off you on the doorstep. -

You gonna go to intermediates?
Yeah the coach said I should do it, he said he'll look after me.
Looking forwards to being the slowest person in intermediates!

You'll be faster than Sumo.

Often I've even been sent treasure hunting at various post offices before they realise that a mistake was made and that the parcel is in fact still with them. Utter and complete cunts!
I've had to do this a few times, been told it's somewhere gone up miles away only to be told it's somewhere else.

It's still sitting in customs awaiting clearance **the saucy cunts!
**
It took Japan Post two days to ship it from a provincial post office in Japan (I know this because I google streetviewed it, is that weird?) to halfway across the world. It's taken Parcelforce two days to achieve exactly fuck all, they're sitting around with their thumbs up their arseholes it appears.
Use of this expression is approved.

Use this to get the local hub's number and deal with them directly. When you call, Press 5 and you'll get through to who you need to speak to.

Arg, rang up this morning and the man said that because it's not at a depot yet (It's gone from 'internation hub' to 'national hub') I can't pay the customs charge. I have to watch the tracking thing and wait until it gets to my local depot and then I can ring up and pay and it will be posted the next day. So realistically I probably won't get it until next week. Boo.
On the plus side I picked up my chainring and saddle from countryboj at lunchtime so I have 2/12 of a bike!

Well meant polite bullshit phone manners isn't exactly a strong business concept. At least allegedly Parcel Force is a fucking service company; they are there to provide solutions, not continued stress and agony... At the very least, as the operator in question couldn't be arsed to sort you out, at least they should have had the decency to call you back and lie.

^^ Hmm, I'll ask Doktor P as he gave them to me.

Lovely frame, can't wait to see it built up. My size too ;-)
Are you after a headset by any chance? I have a Dura Ace 7410 lying around that I have never used, tried selling it on here but nobody is interested because it's JIS threaded (only compatible with NJS frames)
I'd happily just give it to you because I want to get rid of the damn thing!
