I know the guys shut up shop two years ago now, but I have a friend who is hoping to rent the unit and has found an issue with the basement. He's not 100% about the explanation he's been given and was wondering if he might be able to ask the guys about it.

I realise it's OT, but it'd really be helping someone out, as they're not from the area and there's a fair whack of money involved.

There's water in the basement and we're trying to find out where it came from and whether, if removed, it's going to return over and over again.

I don't remember it being wet down there. There's been a lot of work going on outside though, maybe there's been a burst pipe at some point. Might be worth asking in the chippy if they had any trouble.
