Hm, I've never bought vegan shoes in London, always went to Brighton. Definitely try Vx, but as you say, it's likely not to be a huge selection, since they seem to stock so much stuff?
If there's no London shop (and I agree that the first option should be to shop locally), there are now so many on-line retailers offering shoes. I think in design I like the ethicalwares stuff the best (and they have a huge selection), but I haven't kept up with all the new sites that have been being advertised in The Vegan.
