  • This is delishus, subbed

  • Black and yellow, black and yellow...

  • Black and yellow appears to be the way forward.

  • Although with the white fades and graphics, all silver components would probably suit it better ad be easier to find and probably be cheaper.

    This.

  • Hmm, this would look lush with a Suntour Superbe Pro gruppo :)

  • I'm afraid this is going to need NJS everything now Scoot.

    Is teh rulez

  • I wasn't going to say anything, but^.

  • rulez is rulez. Time to become BFF's with your overdraft.

  • Soon!

  • Which courier are you using? Parcelforce take aaaaaaaages and like to charge you $$$.

  • Parcelforce :'(

  • S'ok.

Just use the waiting time constructively and purchase components. :)

    HoKe speaks the truth.

  • You'd probs get some money off on that 7600 crankset too given the condition is slightly cosmetically challenged!

By the way, I am picking up a Panasonic NJS as my beater to add to my Eimei NJS when I go to visit my missus in Japan next week.

  • NJS chainring and saddle purchased as instructed.

I've already got a suntour superbe pro crankset on my current bike which I can just swap over I think? The frame comes with a Hatta bottom bracket, I'm hoping they're compatible...

  • Yep. The tapers should both be ISO so you're ok there. NJS saddle will require some strong sit bones, even if it is for an hour or two of track each week.

Try and find some narrow Nitto bars. B125s have a nice shallow drop compared to the B123s.

  • Yeah I wasn't sure about the no padding part but as I'm on a saddle quest at the moment I want to try lots of different shapes out and see which one suits. Then move on to finding the perfect amount of squish.

  • Shape>squish.

  • kashimax aero/concor

  • Awesome frame, has it turned up yet? I'm thinking of buying from the same place (judging buy the wallpaper/floor/corner of room) and was wondering if it turned up well packaged and in 1 piece? and how much HMRC wanted?

  • It's still sitting in customs awaiting clearance the saucy cunts!

It took Japan Post two days to ship it from a provincial post office in Japan (I know this because I google streetviewed it, is that weird?) to halfway across the world.

It's taken Parcelforce two days to achieve exactly fuck all, they're sitting around with their thumbs up their arseholes it appears.

  • When I was in Japan I had my Samson arrive in just one day. Delivered to me on a Sunday afternoon. Deliveries on a Sunday afternoon! Unbelievable.

  • ^^Been there seen it, done that, bought the t-shirt... In the past I've ordered stuff from all over the world. Typically it takes a day or two from the middle of nowhere to UK borders, then about 7-10 days to clear at customs. On top of that, for some reason PF seem to like to keep stuff in one of their warehouses for a week or so before actually dispatching. Or better yet, they will tell you to that a delivery was attempted, when clearly it wasn't. Often I've even been sent treasure hunting at various post offices before they realise that a mistake was made and that the parcel is in fact still with them. Utter and complete cunts!
