I'll have FrankSeedrs email you.

This concerns me. In the first funding round Seedrs had issues around receiving and allocating the money efficiently. They allow 48 hours for the funds to be added - but there is only 48 hours before it goes live to the public and they note that it can take 2 or three days for the funds to arrive.
It sounds to me as though this rule about only allowing one investment while waiting for the funds to arrive could block some existing investors from accessing the public round.
So it should. I am an initial investor so I should have more rights than anyone entering on the public round.

If you plan to exercise both your pre-emption rights and then top-up your investment in the public round on Thursday, I suggest you make a bank transfer (rather than a GoCardless payment) now to cover at least your pre-emption amount. Whilst it's possible to have two pending deposits of money, an investor can only have one pending unfunded investment at any time.
On the maths side, I think I posted this before, but there's a Seedrs blog entry here which explains how it works, and gives an example calculation.

Hmm, I was entitled to invest up to £XX.YY in this pre-emptive stage. I invested the maximum allowed, transferred the same amount and now Seedrs are saying I need to transfer £0.YY into my account to confirm the investment...
Halp?
Ditto, I have emailed support@seedrs, will see what they come back with.

I realize there's no way to answer this with any certainty but how quickly are you expecting Thursday's target to be met? We're not talking One Direction concert are we?

I have no way to know.
I didn't do a poll this time to find out who is in for what, so I have no way to gauge interest.
Several people have said I'll be surprised, and I've felt confident enough with the feedback we've had that after a couple of people mentioned larger figures I stopped asking (it felt a bit vulgar to do so).
In some ways I hope it takes until Friday and beyond as it gives more people a chance who missed out last time. In other ways I feel competitive and hope it gets filled really fast.
I feel more like a spectator at this point (he says, as he waits to meet another potential investor).

Sound, cheers.

And swiftly fixed, so if this appears as a problem for others, email away!

Got my 15 shares worth transferring now, just got to wake up by 0930 on Thursday.

Nothing JUST about that... However, I believe in you. Set the alarm, you can do it.

Finally got some cash #freelancingwoes. I take it I've missed the boat and have to wait for the Thursday public launch? I signed up to seeders, but the link at the top of this page, apparently I'm not authorised to see.

if you'd all stop talking about it then there would be more time on Thursday morning :)
I predict it will be fully subscribed by 5pm on Thursday, quite possibly earlier.

Yep, the link only works for those who invested in the round back in November.

But the link will work come Thursday morning for everyone else.

This would have been useful information to know before the pre-emption rights round was opened. It remains a fact that an existing investor who wasn't aware of this may not get their bank transfer cleared into their Seedrs account before the public round sells out.
I would guess that on most fundings it doesn't matter as it takes weeks or months to fill the share allocation. But here....
I specifically asked above if it was OK to invest and then move the funds and was reassured that it wasn't an issue. The Seedrs emails regarding the pre-emption process also failed to highlight this potential issue, So currently I'm not impressed with the situation and feel that Seedrs need to think more closely about this process.

I've cleared out the old crap in the Sandbox site and put some stuff in so that people can see how it works, read about it and play around: https://sandbox.microcosm.app/

Good idea vb.
Will help many people understand the power of the concept and the ease of use
Though I suspect some people used to clunky vbullitin forums will find the simplicity freaky -

^This is a pretty big own goal, as it may make it impossible for many existing investors to increase their stake.

If anyone is in that position let me or FrankSeedrs know and we will try and help out.
I certainly don't want people to miss out due to any administrative issues.

I've got one payment (my anti-dilution one) pending via the GoCardless service.
The notification states that that payment will be taken on the 10th of September, so if I wanted to up my investment tomorrow I am stuck, I believe- unless I have misunderstood?

That's my understanding too based on what Frank has said in this thread.
I'll see what can be done.

This is exactly the issue that I have.
I'm sending the cash over by bank transfer today (was hoping to do it last night, but ran into issues with banks) and Seedrs are watching for it, but I'm still concerned about it not getting there...

Mine says "Your Investment" with one of two deposits processed (odd, as they were done at the same time).
How do I actually tell if the non-dilution payment is in place?
