I dug out these Muddy Fox bad boys when I was back at my folks last weekend. Not quite what I had in mind though...
Cipollini, is that you?

I bought some of these last week. Really nice. the UV reactive lens dosent appear to have much of a range at first. But I've both cycled towards bright sunsets, and worn them indoors. So they must have a half decent range. Brilliant coverage too. £30, bargin.

I wear livestrong Jawbones.
Gonna get some different coloured jaws to jazz it up soon (torn between black or red, keeping the yellow O and socks though)Could do with some new lenses (clear for winter commutes and something inbetween the stock black and yellow, maybe the persimmon) but they are so bloody expensive.
Worth it i suppose, the optics are much better than the opposition -

I need some new glasses, and with the weather changing could do with some with interchangeable lenses.
However, with my beard conventional cycling glasses make me look like a skinny Dog The Bounty Hunter, what with their aggressive bridge arch and all that. I can't bring myself to wear them, I feel like a total plum, even if most people think I already look like one in my lycra.
Can't seem to find anything out there in any other style however that have interchangeable lenses. Does anyone else know of anything?
Thanks!

Much as I don't like Oakley, I bought their half jackets with transition lenses. Thats it. The only cycling glasses I need!

I've been using the Ribble ones for years and they've been very good.

great, i reckon i'll have a pair of them. Do they go very light or would a seperate clear pair also be recomended?

Bought my first Oakleys, Radars in Welwyn Garden City on Saturday. Very impressed how they dealt with the water of the heavy downpours on the ride home. After changing into the rainjacket I thought I had already lost them. Took me a bit to realise I was wearing them.

I've worn them in fairly overcast conditions just to keep the wind out of my eyes, I'd get them and then see- you can always get some clear lensed shades if these are too dark.

OK, so I have a n00b to high-quality sunnies question...
I got some Oakley Racing Jackets the other day, and want to get some of the black iridium lenses for super sunny days (like today). They came with jade iridium, which are really good, but I wear contact lenses, which seem to make things a touch brighter than they actually are, so sometimes I need really dark tints.
I found replacements for reasonable price here: http://www.jamesandjames.com/oakley/products/lensracingjacket/41-782.htm
However, I dunno what 'Polarised' lenses do... are they to reduce glare from wet surfaces? And Photochromic are ones that change tint according to brightness right?

Yes to both of those.
Walleva do some pretty good replacement lenses for not too much $$$

Thanks Branwen. Is it worth the extra 30-odd squids for polarised?
Arggh.. I just had flashbacks to my childhood.
