Is it just me who thinks Luca lunges in with the elbow?

It doesn't look like shoulder-to-shoulder which is how I thought checks were supposed to be made these days, and given the height differential I'm not sure it's even possible for these two to check each other...

It looked a bit dangerous to me (elbow/steering arm etc) though I think it was smart thinking from Luca and shows awareness off the ball.

i was right behind the goal. It was aggressive but actually the safest thing to do. If he had played the ball first and ryan had trapped his mallet, it could have resulted in all sorts of tangles. #justyoudan

Seems that beaver use screening with kremin, Portland too. Play three up from the beavers let open net for long period. It seems that in the games we watche during the stream, defensive play in nah is way easier to go through because of very few team using double-g, they let more space.

Double-g? That's one massive step-up compared to the double-d we have in Europe ;)

watching in back completly, both team using double goalies for defense. Portland united seems to have pretty good goal keeping aptitude cause they get so many shots and no one going in for a long time.
Beavers using screen every time they going up on the 3 player, but by controlling the middle to be ready to get a ball too.
