It's already a derivative work, somebody just needs to tweak it some more to make it their own

I think you'd have to completely re-composite from the original elements, after which you'd be dealing with claims from the copyright holders of the elements. Not sure how UK courts have dealt with collage. Under US case law, I'm reasonably confident that the composite image is a sufficient transformation from any individual element to make it a fair use.

If that's Macklemore in the fur coat I'm out.

I could definitely make something similar to the cat/unicorn/rainbow pic. It might take a while though.

As tester said, it's a collage so I think it would be ok to take lots of images that don't belong to me and change them sufficiently. I think I read somewhere that it needs to be 30% different from the original.

So since I'm starting from scratch, anyone care to provide me with rad images to include? Large hi-res only plz.
