2: Reduced chain slap, just like SRAM Type 2
3: Sequential shifting from one controller - has been done as a Di2 hack, wouldn't be surprised to see Shimano implementing it formally when XTR goes Di2 2×11
but many inventors of cycling components have been before their time and disappeared without trace
