Dodi does some dirty stuff too, though. In Krakow I saw him literally reach across and take control of opposing players steering, as he knew they were off ball and the ref would be on the receiver of the ball he just dropped into the D. It wasn't very nice :(

I've played in the states a little this past year and I must say that I found the play much safer over there, at least in the environments I played in. It is much less physical and much less vindictive. The way they talk about the game sounds brutal but it really isn't on court.

Yeah, if he wasn't a nice guy, I'd probably be more critical about what he does on court, but also the manner in which I've observed him "exploring the ruleset as implemented by the referee" gives the impression that he is doing so with a degree of control, rather than being carelessly aggressive.

Well, there is a total ban on what is traditionally called high sticking, i.e. playing the ball above the shoulders.
