yo! just joined from the West of Ireland, taking my first wobbly spins on a fixie: bought meself a nice matte black Dolan pre cursa to factory base specs (+ Navigator Street wheelset, BLB track pedals, diagonal Restrap, Miche/Cane Creek front brake/lever and Profile T2 Wing Base bars) - will show off soon!

been cycling all my life - except for a long break cuz of a nasty motorbike accident - mtb, beach cruiser, mtb-framed Ss, saddllebaged mtb traveling... you name it, never on a road bike tho!

I am not riding at the moment (besides Boris bikes, though I guess that doesn't count), but looking to become a regular rider and needed some advice, hence joining the site. Hello everyone, been out the country for a while where I got into riding fixed gear and have often relied upon this site's vast knowledge-base for advice. I'm back in UK so thought I'd join up - hope to get more involved in the future!
Now I just need to get my hands on a bike...

Been here a few days and really enjoying it.
I got back into bikes to save a few quid on the commute with a ride from Ealing to Hoxton. First few days nearly killed me... Learnt fast and still loving it.
Now working on my first fixie build starting with an old French frame I picked up late and drunk off ebay. Currently scouring the classifieds for cheap bits to finish it off.
I'll post some pics of progress when I make some.
